How to upload pictures to Sythe with ImageShack!

Welcome to my guide on how to Upload pictures to Sythe via ImageShack quickly and efficiently!​

This is my first guide but constructive feedback is definitely welcomed. I would like to know what I can improve and things that I did well on, Thanks. :)

First go to your URL bar and type in www.imageshack.us[/CENTER]​

After this find your file with the browse button, Then click upload and you will be redirected to the next page. You can upload several images at once by just adding them to the line before uploading.​

First check to see if the upload is successful by making sure it says "upload successful." Then copy the link in the "Direct Link" box. After you have the link copied go back to Sythe, go to the post window and then follow these steps to put your picture available for others to see.

Click on the image icon which will open up a small window in the middle of your screen.​

Paste your link in the box and then click "Ok."​

Congratulations! You have now successfully uploaded your picture to Sythe with ImageShack!​

Another basic guide from you. Again it's set out in a nice way, and the color and pictures are fine, but in this instance, the guide is very much basic knowledge. You seem to be be taking on very, very basic subjects. If you wish to apply for User Education, as your application suggests, then I'd really try something more difficult. The average Sythe user could write a guide like this, and as User Educators we expect our guide writing skills and knowledge to be better than that of the average user.

It's even easier to copy-paste the forum code. You skip like half your guide if you just do that

 

I know it's a pretty basic guide. That's why it's not part of the 5 I am applying with. Just an extra guide that maybe can help a few people.

 

I'm going to have to agree with magicarrow here, this guide is very basic, very common knowledge and at first I thought it was a joke like that old "how to use google" guide.

I suggest taking on more advanced topics than simple image uploading but I could be wrong because I think its easy to get in UE atm. If I can get in UE with guides like this I'd write 10 of em today. Sorry m8 no disrespect I am just stating my critisizm.

I;m not using guides like this to get UE. If you look at my application you can tell that it isn't listed as one of my 5 guides. It is just here for if some one needs help.

I think that this is a good pretty good, quick guide that would come in use for someone that doesn't know how to upload pictures to a forum (Kind of like me when I first started). Others have said before that the guide is not UE material, and I agree with them on that. With that said I also understand that this guide was not really made for a UE application guide, but just a quick little guide to help others that may not know this. The only thing that I really don't like about the guide is just the topic itself. I would have liked it a lot better if you have a guide like this, but with a topic that has never been used as a guide before.

As for the actual guide, I really like the pictures. They help to explain what you need to do, and also look very clean and professional. I feel that the guide probably could of been explained a little more detailed, but with such a simple topic not much has to be explained. For this guide I will have to give you about a 6/10. Next time try to find a better topic, and explain more thoroughly. I hope this helps!
