How do you tell someone sent PAYPAL as GIFT?

    How do you tell someone sent PAYPAL as GIFT?
    Also isnt GIFT the paypal option where money cant be refunded?


    Just wondering, because paypal is kind of tricky sometimes.

    well u can't really be sure, but usually if it has no fees is a good indicator.

    The no fees. I think you can go to details though and find it.

    On your transaction history on home-page see if you have a "issue refund" button. Which means it's been gifted.

    Receiving a payment as a gift doesn't change the chances of it being a chargeback. Personal payments are generally preferred since they usually don't incur fees on the seller. However the buyer has the option of not paying the fee.

    How do you tell someone sent PAYPAL as GIFT?
    If the title of the email sent to you is "You got Money!" then it has been sent as a gift, unless... they changed the title, you can go to transaction history and see if there was a fee.
