This is my third guide, slowly building them up.

First off, this is something that is commonly used to remember the guitar string names for Standard Tuning.

    E - Elephants
    A - And
    D - Donkeys
    G - Grow
    B - Big
    E - Ears

This guide works on both Acoustic and Electric guitars.

If you are doing this to an electric guitar, i really do suggest plugging your amp cord into your Tuner/Guitar, so there is no interference.

The strings go in number from closest to you to lower.

On your Tuner, there are most likely Red circles etc that light up, which are usually on the left and right, then a circle in the middle that lights up green. You want to get right on the green, or at least as close as you can get to it.

When you are plucking at the strings, you want to turn the knobs on your guitar, either loser or tighter, depending on what the tuner is telling you. To the left is lower, the right is higher.

This is how you want your strings to look when finished:

I hope this guide has helped you tune your guitar.
