Maybe you should RE-READ the thread and give a better answer.

    Is it safe to bot?

Seems wizard gate answered you questions.

But just to clear it up, yes there are alot of botting bans but its not just lately, people have been banned for macroing since the release of runescape in 2001 and im sure they have been bitching an moaning about their bans here on sythe since 2005. The number one rule of botting is " DO NOT RISK WHAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO LOSE " because at any moment you can be banned/jagrolled.

Personally i bot on accounts other then my main. Dont get me wrong i have botted on my main before, but after a while i noticed that i was risking too much to lose. Where as if a purely botted account gets banned i would not care.

The answer to your second question is either alching or stunning. I personally dont know the ban-rates for those atm as i haven't botted magic since 2008.

Yes, it is safe if you do it right. Don't bot too much and try to use premium scripts and autotalkers. You're bound to get caught eventually if you bot 24/7. A few times for <=8 hours? No way.

Here's a really good free mage training script. I got from 30 something to 77 in 2 days on my pure with this suicide botting (botting 24/7 with little regard for antiban). I highly recommend.

Always try to use premium bots, which are ones you have to pay for. Also, I highly recommend you use bots that are extremely popular. The most safe bot that I have EVER seen is RiD. They cost more then most bots but you won't get banned with them unless you exceed the hour limit or break their other guidelines.

    Good luck!

    Always use premium scripts.
I do bot on my main, its maxed out. And I didn't get a single ban.
The trick is to not get reported and not to fail randoms.
These are the most common ways of being caught.
Always bot below 12 hours a day and when you're doing it, talk to some friend or some one when doing it(baby sitting) and when ever a random quest pops up, you do it manually in case the bot fails and strikes a red flag.

I understand how every one is going to say this isn't botting. I usually do this method only for my main. I make throw away accounts and bot them up with out baby sitting so I dont lose much if it gets ban!

Botting is never safe. If you get caught, you get banned. If you don't, you don't. There will always be threads that say banned for botting. That doesn't mean that you will get banned. But you might... If you bot, you risk being banned. thats all there is

You just have to be safe...but if there are no bot hunting events then just bot the safest you can.

Botting is NEVER SAFE but you can lessen the risk of being banned by getting a good bot and not botting all the time

    Is it safe to bot?

I would recommend either RiDiverse or MTA4 from Robotz In Disguise. There have been 0 bans while following the Guidelines, and 20 since August 2008 breaking Guidelines. The community there is very helpful and can give you a hand if you have trouble setting anything up.

Just click my sig to go there.

I went from 1-99 magic and 1-99 smithing in 7 days, superheating gold ores. However, it cost me 75m total.
