How much will Halo 3 to Halo 3 Recon ?

Alright so Bungie made this new game called "Halo 3 ODST" and the name got changed to "Halo 3 Recon."

Apparently this is because if you have the vidmaster achievements and all the Mythic skulls you are supposed to have the wonder-ful and all known "recon" armor when the new game comes out.

But how much will change? Seeing basicly every player having Recon what will it be like?

Wtf? Is that a SMG? With a silencer?

All I know is that it's going to be a whole new different experience. I'm planning on buying it and can't wait for recon

It's been announced that it will be an open story line, rather than the linearized campaign modes in previous Halos. No, there won't be side missions, like a GTA style, but it's going to be a find your own way scenario.

You actually have that wrong. It's Halo 3: Recon to Halo 3: ODST.

I don't think you can really compare these games because they are a different experience. ODST is going to be solely campaign with no multiplayer aspect besides co-op and the new maps for Halo 3.

I'm most likely going to buy ODST just to see what it's like recon means nothing to me espescially when everyone is going to have it. I never liked it and this will just make it more dislikable.

I'm gonna stick with Halo 3. =]
