How to set Runescape and Other Sites as Your Background!

My guide on how to set websites as your computer background.

Step 1: Right click your background and select properties.



Step 2: Click on the second tab to the right, "Desktop."



Step 3: Click "Customize Desktop..." on the bottom.



Step 4: Click on the second tab to the right, "Web."



Step 5: Click the "New..." button on the right side of the box.



Step 6: Type in the desired website in the box next to "Location:"



Step 7: Press "OK" button on the bottom.

Step 8: Press "OK" again.



After a few seconds of synchronizing, you should see your desired website in the "Web pages:" box.

Step 9: Press "OK" for a third time.



Step 10: Press "Apply," and after a few seconds of loading, your desired website is now your background (but its small...)





Step 11: Resize the webpage by hovering your mouse near the sides of the page and dragging them to all the corners of your background, except, leave some space of your normal background so you can do step 12.

Step 12: Follow steps 1-4 again.

Step 13: Before clicking anything on the Desktop Items box, resize the website to make it the size of the whole screen.

Step 14: Check the "Lock desktop items" box.



Now your website is your background! Have fun!

 

Lol, NICE find! But just a question... Do you have to be connected to the internet to have this working?

And it only works on XP, not vista, I think.

 

I'm pretty sure you do, but it does say its "available offline" so maybe not, but I'm guessing for runescape you do.

Pretty neat find dude, but the thing is that when I tried to use search using google, it opened in another window; Internet explorer.

Also, when I tried to play runescape, it has an internal server, meaning that this "browser" is not compatible with the game.
