    GNOME / linux help

xf86OpenConsole: Cannot open /dev/tty0 (No such file or directory)

I'm getting this error when attempting to startx.

I'm assuming this has to do with my display, for some reason. Can anyone assist me? that'd be great.

    How did you install gnome?

    Try running gnome-session.

    I did yum groupinstall command.

Gnome-session doesn't work for me as a command.
