How to sell 32B without getting scammed

Should I use a middleman? Its alot of money and i feel even reputable vendors will try scam me. Please help Ive never sold OSRS gold before.

I would advise selling to someone well established in the market, as their anti-ban methods will be the most polished, and they will not risk losing their business over 32b.
And using a middle-man is only worth it if you're selling to a regular person, as biggest gold sites are way more trusted than majority of middlemans.

Just make sure to not trade it over to some random guy with a donor rank, because that's how most people get scammed. If you need any help let me know

 

Honestly, using a middleman means that the person on the other side of the trade does not have a good reputation. There are dozens of traders here on Sythe who can be trusted with bulk gold. Outside of those people, it's hard to imagine many small-time traders who would need 32B.

Let's be honest, most gold sites sell a lot less than 32B per day. And these are sites with advertising budgets, customer networks built up over years, and a recognized brand. So why would a random person on Sythe with no reputation need 32B? They want it for their personal account? I highly doubt it.

What I'm saying is, there's little reason for a legitimate individual to buy 32B OSRS Gold. Meanwhile, every scammer on the forum is going to try and find a way to contact you and weasel you out of your gold. There's a few ways they can get you even with an MM involved. They could reverse a payment, imposter the MM, imposter you and the MM, trick the MM into giving the gold before the trade is complete, etc. etc.

TL;DR go with a trusted gold seller/buyer who has an established business and skip the MM.

 

Why would you want to skip a MM? I would advise to use a MM even with trusted buyers, nothing wrong with extra safety

 

An MM doesn't actually make a trade safer unless the MM is more trustworthy than the other party. You either hand your gold to an MM or you hand your gold to the other person in the trade. If the other person you are trading is more trusted and reputable than the MM, it makes no sense to use the MM.

 

Honestly, I'm surprised nobody has recommended this, but I think it would be a mistake to sell all of this at once.
Sell it 2b at a time, only accept crypto, minimize your chances of being scammed for a large amount.
If you're concerned about a ban, do all 32b in one night, but still break it into multiple trades. There's no reason you should need to do all 32b up front to anyone, regardless of how trusted they are. I trust a lot of Sythe members with very large sums, but I'd still never just hand someone 32b if I didn't have to do it all at once, I'd break it up into smaller trades.
