How to see if buyer cancel claimed?

I was reading the post about how to avoid being scammed and it mentioned the "cancel & claim method." How can you tell if the buyer did this method? I want to require people to do this if they buy from me but how can I tell if they actually did it and aren't just lieing?

 

When they claim, it should send you an E-mail to your Paypal account and on the "My Account" section of Paypal there should be a dispute. He will then have to cancel the dispute and the notification will be gone. Alternatively you could just have him send it as a Gift.

 

If he sends it as a gift it is just as safe as using claim cancel? (100% safe right?)

 

It's never 100% safe when you're using paypal, but it has the same protection as Claiming & Canceling.

 

PayPal can be safe if it's
1. Verified
2. Not CC funded
3. Sent as gift
4. Claimed and cancelled.
Must meet all the 4 requirements. IMO tho.
