How To Save Multiple Copy-Pastes

Ever copied something, wanting to save it, only to get distracted, then accidentally copy something else, losing all that data? It irked me, so I surfed the Internet and found out a way to stop that.

Welcome to my First Guide.

First up, open up Mozilla, or IE, or Safari, or whatever browser you're using, and go to your URL bar. Type in this:


You will now come up to a page that looks like this:



To release your anxieties about the file, I have included a virus scan.


Disregard the red things. It's something silly like suspicious file and generally all the file scanners would've picked up something bad.

Now, after you've downloaded, open the file, which has probably gone to your desktop under the name: pnsav2k3.exe

Open that up to start the installation. Follow the steps through installation, and I can tell you there isn't any Spyware in this program either. It's also Freeware.

Now, open the DzSoft Paste & Save 2003 program. It should look something like this.



Now, whenever this is open (you can minimize), whenever you press Ctrl + C or whatever Copy is, this program logs it in the screen. The best thing is, you can save as many of these Copy's as you want.

Also, when you close the program, even after receiving the warning whether you want to close it, if you open it up again, all your copy-paste information will be there. This is great for MSN conversations, image links etc.etc. Also, the P&S Remote Control Box which has three numbers, allows a few things. Clicking any of the numbers swaps between First, second or third file holders in the Program. The notepad with papers on it allows you a quick copy-save scheme. So, to use it, highlight some text, and press the notepad-with-papers button, and wallah! the information will appear in the Paste & Save program.

To delete any information, just highlight that text and press Delete or Backspace.

I love you! I've written allot of guides in notepad and then copied and then closed the file. Then I would get distracted as you mentioned and loose it.

So this program copies everything you do?

 

It copies whatever you click copy on. So e.g.

Macroman <3 me *Ctrl + C*

A sound will happen, if you have the program open, and what you copied will appear in the box in the program, separated by lines, so you don't get confused.
