    How to relieve stress.

    How to relieve stress.
    -----------------------------------------------------------
Stress is a terrible emotion. You never feel up to doing anything fun. Your spirits sink as well as everyone’s around you.

My guide is to help to relieve stress. I hope you get something out of my pictures and information.

Have lot of water through out the day.
It hydrates you, keeps you wide awake, and is good for you. I would suggest always carrying a bottle of water.

    Eat healthy food.
Instead of having a Whopper with Fries for lunch, have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You’ll feel better about yourself that way.

    Get plenty of sleep.

The average adult needs about 7-9 hours of sleep per night. You won’t be as grumpy the next day.
The average teenager should have 8½ to more than 9 hours of sleep each night.

    Exercise and move around.

Everybody should be getting at least 20 minutes of exercise in during the day. It helps remove the adrenaline that we create while under stress. If you’ve been sitting on the computer all day doing taxes, take your dog on a walk, or go on a jog around the block. Moving your muscles after sitting around for hours on end feels so good!

    Some ideas for Exercise are:
    -Taking a walk
    -Jogging
    -Bike riding
    -Canoeing
    -Work out
    -Swim
    [IMG]

    Buy a stress ball.
No joke. They help a lot. Squeezing them while studying is excellent. They help keep you motivated.. at least it works for me. Another option is a punching bag. If you are angry, or frustrated, take it all out on that! Seriously, you wouldn’t even know how much it helps with stress.

Take a warm, hot bath before bed.

Not only does it relax you, but also calms down your muscles, and even brain. Shut your eyes, and stay there for 20 minutes. Guaranteed you will fall asleep in a jiffy.

Stretch before you hit the hay.
Stretching releases all the muscles in your body, and will help you sleep better.

    Talk to a good friend.

Either call, or walk over there. Tell some jokes with him, laugh, and have fun. That will get your mind off stress for awhile.

    Jamming out to music.
It's fun, and you can't get bored. Turn on your Radio, and crank up the volume!

    Breath in and out.. slowly.
This technique should be used if you are very stressed out. Take 5 minutes just to sit down, and breath. Drinking hot tea while taking that break would help as well. Tea always seems to cool you down. Meditating works even better, put your mind on something graceful and meditate for a bit. Trust me, it helps.

    Read a book.

This takes your mind off stress, and it's fun. Magazines and Guinness Books of World Records are excellent as well. They are full of interesting facts.

I hope my guide helped you!
Feel free to point out mistakes, or even provide tips to make my guide better/more complete.

    How to relieve stress.

its good, maybe include techniques you can use in certain, extremely stressful situations, for example, breathing deeply and counting to 3

I personally like this guide, I've been very stressed lately and this guide helped. ^_^ If you go into detail with them a little more I think it would be a very good guide. 8/10

Good guide, 7/10, you need more ideas because these are boring (who wants to roll on a big ball?)

    How to relieve stress.

I'd personally love to roll on a big ball (not in that way and not in an excersive way), like rolling down a hill. :p

    How to relieve stress.

    Nice Guide, 9/10.

I relax by reading a good book. I would add that in because it works, and gets your mind off the stress. Once again, good guide and keep up the good work.
