Necrophage (Eater Of The Dead in Latin)

I couldn’t control this sudden bout of irritability, but just the smell of cab hinted of the Middle East. The man’s face was lightly bearded, less than a full beard but a lot more that a 5 o’clock shadow. His hair was a dark color, streaked with grey that flaunted his age. It was also greasy and looking at it almost made me sick. I was happy I hadn’t eaten because I may just have thrown up all over the back of this cab if it was so. My stomach ached of hunger pains, I mentally cycled through the flavors that this part of town was known for and found none to my liking. I then licked my lips, a little crusted blood came onto my tongue and I realized what I was craving. Human flesh, and the sweet nectar of life that flowed through the veins of all. The blood and skin of one man, I looked forward and saw the sacrifice to my hunger pains. A Middle Eastern man, probably had a family, 4 or 5 kids, and appeared to be in his early forties. I spoke up:
“Sir, could you please pull over into this alley.”
“Yes, yes.” He replied unknowing of my plans. The car weaved over into a small dark enclave and the engine stopped and the man began to speak. Before any sound could be expelled from his lips I had my arm about his throat, my forearm pulled him to the seat and began crushing the delicate wind pipe. At first he struggled, he tried to outdo me and slip from my death grip. After about 6 minutes or so he stopped moving, I’ve had plenty of anatomy classes in my day and I knew that it would take about 10 minutes before he would completely die. So compensating, I pulled harder trying to restrict any blood flow at all. After about 12 minutes I stopped, my fingers found their way to his neck and searched but recovered no pulse. I had just stopped a human heart with my bare hands, but in this fit of hunger I had forgot that I brought no tools to sever the flesh from bone. I just grabbed the arm and sunk my teeth into the still warm flesh.
