How to play the dice game?

I seem really noobish, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do the dice game with the [ dice ] thing. Can someone please explain? Thanks

 

To roll a 100 sided dice type the following WITHOUT spaces

[dice ]100[/dice ]

Dice Roll: 42 of 100

 

But how do you play? Like what are the rules?

Usually, a person will host a dicing thread, and within the OP will be outlined his/her terms & conditions/rules.

 

I feel utterly stupid, but how do you win? I just don't understand how you win.

 

It depends, you can play different games..

here is an example:

dicing 60x2
If OP rolls under 60, he wins, if he rolls over 60, other player wins.

Or, highest roller wins, self explanatory; whoever rolls the highest number, wins.
