Keeping your hair away from face?

I want to know what I can do to keep my hair slicked back so that my hair doesn't interfere with my face at all. Like the use of " GEL " , I can put my hair back but then I CBA washing my hair the day I use gel. Anyone could give me some ideas? I'm a guy BTW and I'm not going to trim my hair because I wanna grow it long lol.

 

When I had long hair I used small hairclips that were the same color as my hair.

 

You can do what I did when i was growing mine.
Wear a beanie. And not once, but everywhere you go.
You'll have a full range of motion/sight.
And it looks better then any kind of hair clips.

But even when it is longer, you'll have to put it behind your ears, wich looks dumb.
So you should not think it will be gone as it gets longer.

 

Gel is a little over powering. When I use to have long hair which was about a few years back I use to get hair wax and put it on the sides of my hair and it'd hold it all day without my hair looking really wet and greasey.

Don't do hair clips, that'd be just a laugh. The beanie is a good idea just as long as it suits you. I sometimes also use to brush my bangs back.
