How to make your first facebook.

Alright.. I have made my guide on how to make a myspace
and now this is my facebook guide =].
Facebook is infact easier to use than myspace and i like facebook
a lot more.

Requirements are the same for myspace...

1. An email address.

2. A computer.

Ok lets start with the guide.....

Step 1. Go to www.facebook.com

Step 2. You dont need to hit any button to be brought to the sign up menu. It is right there on the main page like this... http://i33.tinypic.com/2s69duh.jpg

Step 3. After you have filled in all your information and signed up sign in to the website.. Like this..


Step 4. Once your signed in it will bring you through this whole "Getting started" thing. Its pretty straightforward all you do is fill in your information every time you are brought to a box.

Step 5.You will be brought to this thing called "Find your friends" which is an extremely useful tool. If you sign in with your msn address it will let you add anyone that is on your msn list to your friends. Like this...


Step 6. This next tool is like the last one but better. It lets you type in your highschool or college and it finds everyone else in your highschool or college that has a facebook and lets you add them. Like this....

Step 7. After you have selected the friends you wanted to add through the high school/college friends app you now can enter you city to also find more friends like this....


Step 8. You should now have a good deal of friends by using these tools. Now we can start editing your profile. Click this to start editing your profile....


Step 9. This is when you can upload a picture, or fill in information about stuff you like, or your contact info, etc, etc..


Step 10. Uploading pictures... Uploading a pic is the same thing as myspace, you click upload, then find your pic, then upload it. Easy. You do the exact same thing for videos.

Step 11. The wall. The wall is an area where you can leave a comment on your or one of your buddies profile. Basically you can have conversations on it or just leave them something they can check when they come back. Use the wall by clicking this...


Step 12. Music. This is where i wish facebook was more like myspace. You cannot add a song as easily as you can on myspace. You have to download this app called "Ilike" which makes it so the person viewing your profile has to go down to your "Ilike" section and choose the song they want to listen to. To get Ilike search for it in the search bar and then click it to install it to your face book. Like this....


Well this is pretty much most of what you can do with facebook. I know i didnt include everything but like i said for the myspace guide... I included the important stuff =]. I hope you enjoyed my guide on how to make your first facebook. -Dragoon

 

I don't like Facebook, but okay job. Nice use of pictures so I'll give it a 7/10.

Hmm, facebook site is self explanatory but we all know the first time we log onto Myspace or Facebook where complete retards and don't know how to do a thing. Pictures are well used and text could be a bit more colorful 7.5/10.

 

i like facebook better then myspace because it's all straightforward.
