New Moniter? SImple Question nothing technical.

Ok so im thinking about getting a new comp. A inspiron 530 with vista. I already have a dell moniter thats like a couple years old. Its a fat one. So im wondering will graphics suck on games i play? Do i even need the moniter?





Edit:No comments about comp im getting. It's the only comp i can afford at the moment on a 10$ a week salary as a paperboy lmao.

The graphics shouldn't be too bad. Those screens are pretty capable depending on your graphics card.

 

Yeah graphics are mostly your card, not monitor. The monitor will just show you differently if its a pos. If you don't have the money and the monitor works, keep it.

It will not be horrible, but you would have much better gameplay on a new monitor. I myself just upgraded from my old one to an LCD, and it is just amazing. But if you cannot afford it, then you will still be able to do everything on your old monitor, do not fret.

 

you should be fine, but it might run a bit slower than u expect.
