must have ATLEAST STARTED lunar diplomacy And have gotten the seal of passage from the cheif

EDIT: The tar is located on the big ship after taking the smaller boat to the cove.


Guide:

All you need to do whilst alching is grab the tar from the barrel when it spawns, and once your done alching sell the tar on the GE ( this makes up for the loss of the items your alching ). The barrel produces a random amount of tar 1-10.

It spawns every 30 SECONDS so you have plenty of time to alch. I alch around 800 items an hour and get around 300-450 tar Dependant on the spawns.



Swamp tar sells for 200Ea on the GE.

hmm ok, but u can do many diffrent things, like doing farming while alching etc.

 

So how do we get free alching, not just free swamp tar we could sell at the GE.... I think this is a little off topic for the title...

 

its pretty simple, grab the tar while alching then sell it later... not very hard to understand

 

Ok, looks liek you edited your guide. This makes more sense..thank you. But it is like 90k max/ hour. Still, a thouhgtful effective-cost alchign guide.

 

Basically, you will get lots of tar. 2 tar = already over nature rune prices.

Where is that barrel located exactly? You didn't mention anywhere where the barrel is located.

The tar barrel is on the ship from the beginning of the quest.
