How to make awesome signatures NOT using photoshop. [Easy]

Hello there Sythe. This is my first guide ever on here, I hope it'll help some people further though. This guide is basically about making beautiful signatures without having to learn using photoshop as it is expensive and rather hard to utilise.

[T]he [G]uide

First of all, we need to chose a render. This is the 'theme' of your signature.
For renders, you should go:
- Planet Renders v4 (I personally strongly recommend you register there)
- Premium Renders
- Nexus Wallpapers (these aren't made to be used in signatures, but with a little of cropping they're perfect)
- If you want something specific you can always
google it.



Then, go to Picnik. When you've done that, click this button:
Next upload a photo, and select the file you downloaded from Planet Renders/Premium Renders/ Nexus...

When it's loaded, your photo will appear. Above, you will see the following options:

1. The options to close the photo you're editting or upgrade to premium are here.

- Collage (When you have editted several renders, paste them together.
- Show* (Upload to the internet)

Make your very own library with images you've editted with Picnik!*

Practically edit your photo.

Subcategora:
General: Click 'Ok' to safe and 'Cancel' to discard changes.
- Auto-fix: Fixes bad resizes.
- Rotate: Spin your photo around!
- Crop: Crops your photo, ways easier than paint! Select the part you want to KEEP, or when you want certain proportions, enter those.
- Resize: This will resize your image. You should ONLY use this to make your photo smaller, because making it wider/higher will make it pixelate and ugly. I also strongly recommend using ' keep proportions '. (Same reason as above)
- Exposure: Enlighten your pixels.
- Colors: Select the Saturation and Temperature (Red <-> blue) of yours colors.
- Sharpen: Image a bit blurry? Use this! But, be aware, don't overdo this. It will make your photo 'dotted'.
- Red-eye: Fixes a red-eye! Works flawless, (it will make your eye black, ofcourse) aswell for animals! Select the furball option.

Here comes the real work! Add something into your signature, a fancy effect or a simple sticker! Or, show it's your work! Add your name and chose between various fonts!

- Featured: This is updated weekly. Don't have inspiration? Just click this button and see which effects/stickers are currently popular!
- Effects: Speaks for itself. Just scroll through the multiple effects you can use! You can easily try & cancel something. Each effect can be set on a certain place on your photo but not on another: simply select the brush, tab effect and spill the effect on your photo wherever you want!
- Text: So many fonts! Personally I love to use a certain font for the first letter, and another for the next. You can chose the size, color and fade for your font. If you think the text is too heavy, just use the fade scroll to calm it down a bit.
- Stickers: Stickers, stickers and stickers! For any activity or theme there is one! Once again, you can select the proportions, color and fade grade of the sticker.
- Touch-up: Aww, due to the exposure you don't like the color of your hair or your eye bright/color? No problemo! Wait there is. You need a premium account. Use PRT SCRN if you really want it, and copy it in paint. Or buy a premium account! It's surely worth it.
- Advanced: Pretty much the same as Touch-up.
- Seasonal: Effects, fonts and stickers for all holidays! Make your own Christmass cards using this tab!

.: 5. Finally done? Save and share! :.

Do your last resizes, and save it! For the compression quality I suggest 10, you don't want spend all that time for a pixelate sig, do you? When putting the name, add .JPG in the end! Picnik won't do this for you.

As for the guide:

• As he stated, pictures wouldn't hurt.
• As far as a guide goes, I feel explanation was thorough enough.
• I'd like to see an example of the finished product, if its not your sig currently, I'm not really sure. If you stated that, I apologize.

But yeah, its not too bad of a guide in itself. However, the site itself isn't that great of a tool to begin with. 8/10 for a guide (use more pictures), as far as its usefulness however; 4/10.​
