How To Go Viral On YouTube! (1300+ Words)

    Hi Guys and Gals :),
It is ClickMe here from sythe and I am just going to write a small guide for you great people on how you can get more popular on youtube. Before we start it would be greatly appreciated if you can click the link in my signature right at the end as it enables me to keep all of my guides free... I have also set a target so when I gain $5 (10 people) signing up my next guide will be released most likely about setting up a proxy for free or another great subject :).

I hope you enjoy this guide and keep on reading :).

In this day and age it is extremely hard to get known and be made popular on YouTube especially in places such as the gaming market due to a lot of rivalry and competition. However like most things in life it is possible so don`t give up and as a helping hand continue reading and I will give you some top tips from a professional YouTuber :).

    1) Make your videos UNIQUE!

I would personally say that making your YouTube videos unique is probably the most important tip that I am going to tell you Today as without making them Unique and enjoyable you will have no audience. By unique I mean changing the pitch of your voice or creating funny clip scenes that you can add in.

While on this point I must also mention that the first 10 seconds of your video is the most crucial part as it is sort of like the decider to whether your audience are going to stay or go. The easiest way to keep them there is like said above make up something unique. (Don`t start with the normal "Hi Guys" change it to something like "Wassup my Brothers" obviously dependent on who your audience is or what they are viewing :).

    2) Get Tagging

YouTube is an ever growing network of people which is a given. But how do you expect people to come across your videos without appropriate tags? For example if a video I was making was about say "Baking" I might add a tag that says "Cooking" or add the name of the things you are cooking.

I must also point out at this point that if you add the tag "MW3" to a "Baking" video expect it to not be very popular as you are aiming your results at a niche market of "MW3 players" and "Bakers". However if you add the tag "How To Make Butterfly Cakes" you will more than likely get a few extra viewers that just manage to crop upon your video :).

Some people also add extra tags into their video description however I would advise against this as a lot of the time you get viewers who didn`t really want to come along your video if they were searching another term and this can lead you to get a bad name and be called a spammer.

    3) Is The Title Interesting And What About The Thumbnail?

Another key point of making your video popular is creating a great, snappy title and an eye catching thumbnail that will captivate your audience and will make them want to look at what you have to offer. This can be done by using a five minute editor to create the thumbnail or just getting some one of YouTube or Sythe to make one for you normally for a small fee.

Whereas a snappy title can be created by using things like exclamation marks at the start or end of your videos!!! Also try to use SEO techniques or words that are commonly searched in your YouTube title for more views.

    4) Now To The Description

One of the best places to put SEO in and keywords that are searched on the net in is in the description. Just simply Google search commonly used terms or something along them lines and try and add it into what you are saying in your description. (Remember to make your description cool and exciting to read).

Another great way to help captivate the audience with a description is to try and promote your Facebook,Twitter or other social network page as not only does this let your viewers know when you are uploading or doing events with your viewers but it also lets them know about your social life or whatever else you want to put online. (This is a must if you want to get big and famous on YouTube as now a days that little subscribe button doesn`t give us viewers enough information so we want to know more). A social media page also helps you stay active and trending in the community.

    5)Make Friends

The more friends you make the more viewers you will have which is quite simple really. What I tend to do is go around on massive hunts making friends with other YouTubers and just generally helping them out in the small hope that they will return the favour. For example about a week or two a go know I made an intro for one of the top YouTube Gaming Commentators and like always he gave me a shoutout giving me an extra 500 or so viewers and although this is not too much it is enough to help you grow your community. Just think about it... If them 500 subs then post 1 comment which then gets posted on their channels the number of viewers and subscribers that I could gain is endless.

You don`t even have to do anything for them just be a good friend and post on their videos in the hope that you will get the top, most rated comment which alone will bring you dozens and dozens of subs :).

    6)Like4Like

Like4Like is another great scheme of how you can make gain even more subscribers and viewers. Basically the main basics of this scheme is that you like somebodies video and they will then like yours back. Not only does this get you higher up in the searches when somebody searches your key term but it also yet again posts it on their channel for all of their subscribers to see!

However I must also say here that I personally would only try Like4Like as recently a lot of people have been making accounts just to try and gain more subscribers their main account therefore you end up with an inactive subscriber if you do Sub4Sub.

A great scheme for free likes that have helped me a lot is Like4Like.org and I am in no way trying to advertise their services I am just simply posting it as their site has worked wonders for my YouTube channel.

    7) Do Giveaways!

Giveaways are another great way that you can increase your sub base and gain more viewers as they help you interact with your community and if you are getting people to subscribe to win a prize a lot of them won`t actually be bothered to unsubscribe so their are a few extra viewers... Think about it even if you just get 1-2 more active viewers and 50 inactive subs it is all worth it as like always them 1-2 active viewers will comment and like on all of your videos :).

I am probably going to end this guide here (For know anyway and remember to just leave a comment below if you think I need to take out, improve or add anything).

I also do not mean to pressurize you or anything but it would make my day if you could sign up to the site in my signature as I am trying to save up for a gaming Computer with all the money that I gain from writing these guides!

    Thanks again :),

PS: Mods, Pls do not ban this thread as I am just trying to give advice and clicking the ref link is not compulsory it just helps me keep writing guides like these for the community on a free basis as one way or another I have to get some money so if this gets banned I will have to start writing guides that users have to pay for :(.

Thanks and yeah although it only took about 10-15 mins to type up hehe :0. I guess I am just a fast typer :).

As for videos then maybe you could do some vlogs or something they normally go down quite well in the YouTube Community. I also find that How to`s are great ways to get views but whatever you do I would personally stay away from gaming as it is over populated with good videos especially if you are a YouTuber trying to form a sub base :).

Just whatever ever you fancy doing really :).
