How to get started doing 2007 fire cape/quest services

hey, I am pretty new to sythe and have just only got my first vouch today. I own arguably the biggest fire cape services in any runescape pure clan with almost 100 vouches offsite. But I struggle to find how to translate that here, especially since people are way more likely to trust me in a clan than on here. Is there any way to build up services from scratch? Is offering free capes viable, and is it respectable? Also I will be heavily undercutting other services Any tips are appreciated and thanks in advance!

 

Yeah you could offer free fire capes and exp training till you build a certain amount of vouches. Or if you just want to jump straight into it, have a MM hold the buyers gp while you get the fire cape. After you provide proof or the buyer confirms you have completed the fire cape you will receive payment from the MM.

There are Official Middleman's that charge a fee but there are also vouched MM's that you can trust.

 

Donating to sythe can be seen as a quick way to gather 'trust'. If you abide by the market rules while offering free fire capes you can receive vouches in a quick way in order to gain a reputation. Also providing evidence (with pictures) of doing fire cape services before is a benefit.

 

don't think u can offer anything in exchange for vouches

I did the same thing as u, however I went black market asap and did whatever I could to build a rep which was mainly getting the cape done asap (regardless of stats). however, competition is much larger now and many ppl alike u are looking to do the same thing I was and the price of capes is much less than what I was charging in 2008 (which was much much less than 2006-2007).

 

1. Donate to Sythe.
2. Have an MM hold a gold deposit worth the amount of gear/value of the account + the payment for the fcape, then take pictures/post proof of you completing the capes. Eventually your vouches will start to pile up and you won't need the MM part anymore.
3. Offer free services to get your name out there, but you can't ask for vouches in return. If they like your service, they will most likely not have any problem helping you out with a vouch. Make sure you do a good job .
4. Do Fcapes/services for more trusted people by giving depost/going first and finishing them in a timely manner. Having someone trusted give you a whole-hearted vouch is probably one of the best ways to boost your credibility.
