How to get rid of white space?

    How to get rid of white space?
    Well I was wondering how to take of the white space from pictures. I like the picture I have for my avatar but I don't like the white box around it.

    Any help on how to remove the white box?

    How to get rid of white space?
    In photoshop, get out the magic wand tool and click the white space. Delete and save as a png. It's the simplest way to do it, although you could pen tool to get more accurate cuts.
