Karils x-bow

Is it true that the Karils x-bow break randomly? If so i really don't want one..

Also, is it worth pking with or what? I'm wondering if i should stick with rune crossbows..

I've never heard of such a thing.

I see people use it quite often in pvp worlds or when fighting some boss or other, but have never seen one break.

nope it just degrades from 100 to 75 to 50 to 25 and on 0 it breaks won't break randomly i'm guessing you mean the handcannon by any means wich is relieing on your firemaking level

 

if your karils xbow is a Karils X-bow 25 then i guess so... it depends how new or used it is.

Also it wouldn't randomly go from 75 to 0 it degrades by 25 over time the total time lasting is 10 hours if i'm right

 

Then i'm not getting it, i'm not buying something that's going to degrade..

 

it really doesn't cost that much to repair and It's a beast of a weapon if you have over 80 range. It's really fast too.

 

Lol have you ever used any Barrows items...?

 

I do not think it breaks randomly, but if you die with it, and lose it, but get it back from a gravestone it will go to Karil's Crossbow (0), but all barrows items do that. As far as pking goes, I prefer the rune x-bow as it hits harder, but Karil's is faster, so I'd say mainly preference.

 

It takes 10 hours of combat to fully degrade that's a long time, plus its not too expensive to repair it, I think its like 100k or so with 1 smith/having a ncp to fix it. If you have higher smithing you can use the armour on an armour stand in your house/someone anothers house.

 

It doesn't break but it degrades over time but is quite cheap to repair.
