My eBay experience

So i've bought numerous things of eBay without a hitch but i never had actually sold anything on there so when i got a new iPad and no use for my old, i decided that was the way to go.

Within 1 day of making the listing, someone had purchased the iPad for $240 and requested a tax invoice for total price. "Okay" i thought, usually they just pay you straight up but whatever, then he tells me he'd like to continue our conversations through private email instead of through eBay message.


O...kaay.....
I give him my email and then he sends me this elaborate messege.



Oh yeah, after i give you my bank details the prince of nigeria will call me and send me back an iphone 6?
I sent him back this email


2 days later his account gets banned ( i think someone hacked it and used it to Nigerian prince scam people) and i get two emails telling me "get phished kid"


I didn't ship the iPad or get paid (yeah right like he was going to send me anything.)

but the most annoying thing is he took down my listing and now i have to go through the 20 minute listing process again..-.-

First and last time i sell anything on ebay i swear

 

Dude.. Her son is doing a fucking misonary trip and she is risking her life doing Nuclear inspections. Just send the fucking ipad!

But seriously,
Ive made upwards of $1500 off Ebay and Ive never experienced anything like this :\

Its generally a good system will good buyers.

 

oh yeah hahaha man that happens to me all the time. sick of zimbabweans always trying to get me to give it them the having allways of it!!

but that sucks dude. some shady ass Murasaki's on this thing called the internet right.

 

Similar sort of things have happened to me on ebay but i've never had any other bad experiences on ebay and habe sold/bought plenty of stuff without problem.

 

20 minute listing process? Lol. I can list things in like 5 minutes and make them look professional, and then if they get removed from dickheads, it takes one click and then it's re-listed.
