How to forward a call from a cellphone through a computer to another person?

Title sums it up basically.
I want to be able to call a land line that is hooked up to my computer, then have it forward the call to another number (One I specify maybe as an extension?).
I want to do this to save money on international calls.
Anyone have any ideas or know any programs that do this?

 

I'm not sure about any methods directly pertaining to what you have asked, but have you every considered Skype? It is free if you are talking to other Skype users, no matter where you are. All you need to do is call from your computer. I hope that helps to some extent. Good luck.

I personally use MSN Messenger 8.5 For calling on the internet.

And Skype is good too, I haven't used it yet, but Ive heard that its better than MSN Messenger although MSN is easy to use, Skype has Crystal quality sounds, you can hear every single thing, unless if the person you are talking to has bad internet connection.

Yeah, you didn't even read the whole title. I want to call forward THROUGH my computer from a cell phone, to another cell phone. But thanks for trying.

 

There are a few ways to use your Phone through your computer, the problem with it is it will NOT save you international charges, infact it will cost you more because the computer does not actually forward the call it simply makes a call from your cell phone but relays it through the computer, all you can do is turn your computer into one big ass hands free set.

Now there are ways to set up your computer to make phonecalls through your network/modem/other plugged in phone service, but again you'll still get charged full international call fee's plus whatever other shit your phone company wants to charge you for connecting via a computer. There's no way to really cheatt he phone system the way you want to.

 

Well, actually I know a guy who knows a guy who did it, but of course he's not sharing because he makes money off it. By the amount of answers I'm getting here, I'm guessing not many people know how.

 

So you know a guy, who knows a guy, who claims to have done it and not received international charges? Even seen his phone bill and any proof of that?

And I have no doubt it's possible using a pay as you go phone and hacking/going around things, but at that point you're getting into heavy legle stuff and I thought you were looking for a legitimate way to do it.

 

So actually, the first guy is my Uncle, so I trust him when he says he knows a guy . And...legit or not, I was just looking for answers, although I'm pretty sure it's not illegal up here in Canada.

 

i think it is illegal and if your not carefull you phone line will be barred no phone no internet

 

I live in quebec, and I can tell you in canada it is VERY illegal, RCMP would jump down your throat for doing it to try and bypass your phone bills etc, because 90% of telemarketing companies are run out of basements using methods involving what you're asking.
