Love how the E-Sports scene is growing rapidly, especially with the launch of the scene in Korea!

 

DotA2.. Is a great game -although I am awful at it- I am looking for people to play with, as I only ever play with one guy atm, and he always wants to play LFD2 instead!

I am only level 10 on DotA2, but I sometimes have a good game

 

I like the game, but I personally think its overly complicated.

 

It's not that complicated at all, you play LoL it's very similar. It takes strategy but the objective is simple, take down the towers, farm, neutralize the enemy.

At first the game is a little confusing but once you get the hang of it, the game is really fun m8 If anyone every wants to play with me pm me for my steam

it's abit harder then leage, but thats why i find it more appealing.

i honestly rather and even still play dota 1.. maybe im just getting old and dont want to move on.. but i just cant stand how dota 2 looks.. but still id rather play dota 2 over league of legends for sure

 

I think LoL is better then dota2

 

Just started, need some advice on a good character.

I've played only one game and used lich, he was ok but I died ALOT

 

The first character (but not as fun to play with) and easiest I began with is an auto-attack character like Sniper. Riki is another one. Riki is a very common character for new players because he can carry (get lots of kills) late game if you don't die. (He has permanent invisible after level 6, with a few seconds delay of course)

 

Well since you are starting out you should play supports to learn the game first, supports don't require lasthits, the carries need the lasthits. Good supports to play are:

- Crystal Maiden
- Venomancer
- lion
- earthshaker
- leshrac
- witch doctor

I'd suggest playing these heros till u learn the game, What you are supposed to do is NOT autoattack in the game, autoattacking will lead to pushing and that's bad in early game.
Don't go in close to other heros, stay close to ur tower and gain experience so u won't get a lot of deaths, and use ur abillity's to go for kills with ur teammates.
