How To Find Good Partners In Business?

Hi everybody I was just wondering how you've been able to find good partners online. Do you post listings on a bunch of websites? Do you contact somebody you think would be a good fit?

 

What are you trying to do?

 

I'm a programmer and can automate just about anything. I've done so successfully with some private servers and even runescape itself. BUT I'd like to expand this automation to more games, maybe different industries like SEO, or something not even related to those. For that I need a partner(s) with creative ideas of what can be automated to get products/services of value. I'm out of ideas of what to automate and make bots for. A big hurdle to that is 1) finding somebody that could have knowledge of market supply/demand and 2) Trusting and willing to disclose such ideas for a percentage of the revenue generated in order for me to program something to execute that idea and make passive income.

Just contact people who are already successful in this field, they most likely can't keep up themselves with orders

 

Yea I can ask resellers what they would like or need, but then there isn't much information on how to obtain the gold they want. So I don't know and can't find out what to make a bot for to get what they want.

 

Can always just start ur own private script service, if ur good at it they go for loads of money( the demand is huge)

 

Nah, that's letting somebody else make the money then while I just work for a one time payment. I'd rather have some sort of partnership for continued revenue. And I will never show somebody my source code under any circumstances or do anything to jeopardize it.

 

Won't get anywhere if u think like that, if you wont do it someone else will. And those who will agree to partnerships will 90% of the time try to rip you off

 

??? I'm perfectly fine with mutually beneficial business arrangements. What's beneficial about being paid less than $100 to sell something that will make thousands? I'm not some idiot when it comes to business lol people will not be able to rip me off.

 

Doubt it but w/e, always look at things from the both sides, why would they bother with you if they can just pay someone else "less than 100$" for the same job as u said. Unless you can make something that nobody else can you will get literally nowhere with this

 

Yeah, I can literally make bots and scripts for anything and things which nobody else is doing. I don't need bot clients, I use real programming. I've already made things that aren't available anywhere else. These types of business partnerships tend to do offline (actual contracts can be signed etc.), so I'm not really expecting much on online postings.

 

Would suggest to just try redeveloping popular scripts with more safety features and just focus on perfecting that, if you can make them harder to detect than any1 else there are endless ideas and ppl will do anything to work with u

 

Perhaps, but the ban heuristics for runescape are pretty good so re-writing existing things just to make it slightly less bannable isn't that big of an impact.

 

Asking something like this is alarming, just pick anything literally anything with a niche market and you program that.

There are lots of things you can do, you have to make informed decisions if you want to invest your time into it.

 

I could definitely make a forum bump bot lol. That doesn't seem very valuable though. And yeah, ideas like a ptc bot, or even something to do with swagbucks could be worthwhile, but those seem low value too. Using bots to get game currency is pretty high value...I just can't think of any good ones. There are a lot of different money making methods even with that... I research a lot and either nobody is buying gold from that game or the ways to get the gold is only like 5 cents an hour lol.

There are a lot of low value ideas for bots, but knowing medium to high value ones is definitely pretty valuable and worth a percentage of profit.

 

You could easily make $200/month passive income with a bump bot if you play your cards right.

 

Maybe. Again, a very small market. I'm going to edit my threads to suggest people look into various mobile gaming markets as I've just realized there's a lot of research to be done in those markets and I have no idea where to start.

 

Think I may have found a good partner who contacted me. So to answer my own question and to help others, to find a good business partner online or in person, you really just have to put yourself out there as much as possible. Have a clear message so the right people can contact you, and reach out to people who you think may be a good partner. I think it just takes time and effort, there's no real one stop solution for this.

 

Reading your thread I have the feeling you think making a bot script would be a one time purchase while somebody else picks the fruits of your labor.
This would be entirely wrong.

If you would end up making a good functioning script, you could "rent" it as they do nowadays on websites like tribot.
Set it up for payments once every 2 week or once every month this way you don't take any risk and benefit the most out of your capabilities.
Tigeris is right, making a script would be the best way to go and fine tuning already working scripts would deffinitly be a good way to start.
