How To Find > Download > Use Firefox Add-ons

Having useful things like Chatzilla, or sexy themes, or lovely Greasemonkey is always good. In this guide I'll show you how to Find > Download > Use your add-ons.

Welcome to my Third Guide.

Okay, to get started, YOU MUST HAVE MOZILLA FIREFOX! Just to make it clear, IE or Safari or whatevs will not run Mozilla add-ons funnily enough.

Okay, open up Mozilla, and go to this site:

Now, after going here, you will find a page that looks something like this:

SUCH DELIGHTS! SUCH TREASURES! IT'S LIKE GOING TO DOWNLOAD.COM AND FINDING EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED FOR FREE!

Well, not quite. But it is all free! Spyware free! Adware free! Pay-free!

On the left-hand side of the screen, all the possible add-ons for Mozilla.
On the right-side of the screen, most popular, most downloaded, reviewers choice etc,etc
In the middle of the screen, the most popular downloaded add-ons of the week.

Go through everything and enjoy what you find. There is even a neat little search-bar entailing whatever you want.

Some of the add-ons I have, that you may want as well are:

Chatzilla <--IRC client
BloodFire <--Sexy theme
FireShot <--Simply clicking the button on your browser with the S, takes a screenshot for your editing pleasure

Now, you may be asking...okay...how do I use these add-ons to my benefit?

Well, from here, after having downloaded the add-on, you may find it on your page with something similar to this:

Clicking the picture, in this case, the FireShot logo on the top right hand side of my screen, will make FireShot take a screenshot, then allow me to edit by opening up a box.

But what if it isn't showing up? OH NOEZ! MY BLOODFIRE THEME AREN'T WURKING! No worries, just follow this.

After you have clicked Tools > Add-ons, you should have a little screen like this:

Handy, eh? All your add-ons that you have ever downloaded will be in here. Similarly, all your themes, will be located on the next tab. To use the themes, just click the themes tab, click on the theme you want, then click Use Theme. Also, "Find Updates" just checks the add-ons website to see whether any later versions are available.

Now, you may ask...What is "Get Extensions" down at the bottom of the box?

*It is "Get Extensions" for add-ons and "Get Themes" for Themes.

Simply enough, when you click it, it redirects you to the Mozilla Add-on page. If you have any questions about Mozilla Add-ons or anything else, don't be afraid to ask me, or PM me. Also, any useful tips or reminders for the guide, just post them here and I'll look through them.
