How to download and install brushes and fonts!

Welcome to my guide to downloading and installing photoshop brushes and fonts.I wrote this guide because I see the question asked often and I knew i could help all those people out. Below are the requirements.​

Requirements:
-Brush Downloads
-Font Downloads
-Photoshop
-Winrar
-Basic computer knowledge

Lets get started

Brushes​

Step 1:
First you need to find a place to download your brushes, you can try sites such as www.deviantart.com.

Step 2:
Download the brush; remember to save it too somewhere you’ll remember later like I have in the picture.



Now that you have it in your file you’re going to need to extract the files using Winrar.


Simply highlight the first file and click “wizard”



You should now see this;


Now keep opening these folders until you come to an .abr file, it should look like this:


Now cut this file and open up your version of photoshop, go to app>photoshop>presets>brushes and paste your file.



Now that your brush is with your original one’s you can view it in photoshop, so open photoshop and go to your brush tool,click the little arrow and find your brushes. Click on them and click “append” to add them too your list of useable brushes!




Congratulations! You’ve now successfully added your first set of brushes to photoshop!

Fonts​

Now comes the easy part, fonts are so fast and simple to install it will only take you a couple seconds!

Step 1:
First you need to download a font, a great site for downloading fonts is www.dafont.com. Again, I suggest saving it to a place you will remember.

Step 2:
Downloading will only take a second or 2 so once your done go to your downloads in your computer, now go back to where you had that file saved and extract it using winrar. Once you’ve gone through the folders you should see this;



Simply right-click the file and click “install”. You’ve now downloaded and installed the font but what next?

Step 3:
Now simply open photoshop and go to your text tool, go through the fonts and you’ll find the one you just downloaded!

Thats a nice guide for beginners. The only thing I think you should fix is how to get to your photoshop folder. Alot of people may not know how to get there. But other then that, good job.

Theres a much easier way to install brushes but still good job hopefully people will stop asking so much now
