Range Tank help

Ok so I've decided to start a range tank for mid level P2P Bh. I really need some advice on what stats I need and when to get what stat. I'm not requesting a guide but If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

52 pray
70+ def
85+ range
82+ mage

u could get 70/70 att and str to get guthans and aid with def

 

Which would be a better choice i your opinion?

 

I am a mid level ranger tank. I have 85 range 65 defence 52 prayer.
I find that i take tones of hits, and deal huge damage. To be a tank your going need 70 defence (currently getting 70), get atleast 60 attack and strenght, then train on your defence to 70.

I say 60 so that you are able to go to godwars (need 60 to push bolder) if you want to make good cash at avies.

Dont even bother trying to pk with d bow until you have 85+ , or even 90+ you will fail and lose tons before you get a kill.

I have an account with 70 str and 70 att 45 def but 1 range lol. Should i use that account for my ranger? Or should i make a new acc? I have no problem with making a new acc. Cause you said 60/60 would that be better than 70/70?

 

Use it but get range and def up lots as its a start isnt it providing you can work out that you will still be in med crater when you reach higher lvls

 

I also have an account with 49 str 40 at 5 def 5 ranged and he is mem atm. I think ill use this one but can anyone tell me what quests I'm going to need to do? And how high to get my str/att/def/pray

You should get 85+range, 70+def, and 52 prayer.

 

you should get 52 prayer 85 range and 70 def and at least 80 mage

 

My f2p tanker has 53 def 92 range 86 mage dt done some str and attack, I would say work on range first get to like 85+ pretty much what trigga said

 

I would say about AT THE LEAST

75 Ranged
52 Prayer
75 Defence
82 Mage

Should I do lost city/ monkey madness and dragon slayer? Or are those worthless for me.

 

Get 70+ def, 90+ rng, 70+pray.
