How To Disable Backspace Navigation

Welcome to my Second Guide!

I was recently playing Runescape, and my computer has this annoying thing of clicking outside the box randomly (no idea, not virus lulz) and I would be talking, make an error, press backspace, and log out to the world selection page...and it would happen at really awkward times (bounty hunter, wilderness, revs, monsters etc.etc) so I went about trying to find a way to fix it.

I came upon something handy. It's called Disable Backspace Navigation. It is a Mozilla add-on, and I'm going to show you how to get it.

Go to the Mozilla page, which is located at this link:

Your page will look like this:



After that, type in:



Now, click Enter, Search, whatever, and it should take you to the next page. Click on the add-on "Disable Backspace Navigation". Now click the button "Add To Firefox". There you go ,after downloading, you may need to restart Firefox, but that's handy huh?

However, if you don't want to go to that much trouble, there is

ANOTHER WAY!

Go to Mozilla's URL and type "about:config".

Now, go down to the line that says:

Browser.backspace_action

Set the integer to 2. WALAH!

ty finally, i dun so annoyed when playing runescape. still remembered i lost my full sara when pking. accidentally press the backspace and bam! next thign i knew i was at lumby.
