The Soft Pker Rant

I myself have played since 05. Pking basically as soon as i started. The player`s nowadays tend to annoy me to the point where i basically walk around with public off most of the time. Whenever i kill someone they add me and flame me or they come back and follow me. Phrases such as;
*Noob, you used antifire potions.*
*Noob Safer*
*Wow Lucky Nub*
*l2pk*
Get old really fast. I don`t care how it happaned if someone kill`s you in the wilderness you can in no way flame them. Because like it or not they out smarted/played you.
Pking couldnt be any easier nowadays. with weapons that can hit 50+ easily and better food and karabwan and choc bombs and quick prayer button it couldnt be any easier to stay alive. No matter what though people find there excuses. Not once have i called someone a safer. or insulted them for the way they pk. If you don`t like how your oppenent is fighting then don`t fight them.
I may not like it when i die. But i still say gf to my oppenent even if they pjed me, because i know i was out smarted. Now Jagex recently nerfed pjing. Giving in to what these newer pkers want. I dont pj nor do i ever try. But pjing what many people start off doing to get acustom to how pking works.

Sorry this was just a rant against the people who tend to think they know it all. Just got fed up with getting flamed because i out play other people.

Good post... I agree, the whole thing about pjing is how people start out pking idk about, but safing is definetely how all people start out pking, people don't want to die, so they eat. I pk on and off, and when I get back into it after a while off I notice I am a bit nervous, but after pking for like 2 hours I am back into the swing of things. W00t 250 posts (Forum Addict ftw)

 

Its how alot of people start out. Because it`s alot less risky. and they see videos of people hitting 80+ and they want to do the same thing. and yes alot of new pkers start out over safing and such because there not used to dieing and how much people are able to hit and such and it`s just a natural part of learning to pk. I dont blame them. But there`s many ways to beat a safer.

 

I actually like this post and agree, but this anti pj bullshit is just another way for jagex to baby all their new players and make everything safe, eg ditch for the wild, then no wild, gravestones, blocking out your passowrd, and alot of others. its useless and annoying to me.

 

id be 350m richer if jagex didnt make grave stones. some nub died at hell hounds with a blue phat -.-

 

I miss 07 pking so much. I miss before godswords and that bs, when it was ran by whips and d scims. I loved the old pking aswell as anything else.
