How to Check the Status of a WU Transfer

Western Union is a form of money transfer. Just like paypal, you can send and receive money, but with Western Union, you don't need an Account.
If you're smart about WU, then it is 100% safe. If you aren't smart about it, it can be as risky as paypal.
In the world, there are over 400,000 Western Union dealers in over 200 countries.

Q.) How safe is it compared to paypal?
A.) WU (Western Union) is 100% safe IF you pick up the money before sending the goods.
Unlike paypal, once the money has been picked up IRL, it cannot be charged back.
Be careful though, if someone offers to send the WU and then you need to give them the goods before picking up the money, be very careful.
WU payments CAN be canceled before they've been picked up. It's happened to me, and I lost 150m.

You don't need to create a Western Union Account to send or receive money.
All transactions can be done in a store if needed. Petrol Stations, Super Markets, and Post Shops, are just a few of the many places that have Western Union.
So the simple answer is, Yes.

In the above example, I used the first name "Ethan" and the last name "Smith".
When you're doing this, you would use the First, and Last name of the sender of the money,
And the MTCN will be given to you by the sender.
To do this yourself, visit the site: www.westernunion.com and in the middle of the page, you will see the form above.

Wrong MTCN, or Personal details:
This means that the Sender of the money has given you incorrect information,
whether it be their personal information, or MTCN.

WU Transfer has been picked up:
This means that the money has successfully been picked up by the other member of the trade.

WU Transfer Available for Pickup:
This means that the money has been sent, and is waiting for the other member of the trade to pick it up.

Transaction Canceled:

As I said above. If someone say's they've sent the WU payment, and you check online, and it says, "Available to be picked up by the receiver", it is not 100% safe.
I encourage you to go down the road, and pick up the WU payment before delivering the goods, because the sender can cancel the payment at any time until it has been picked up.
