How to Change your IP Address

I'm wondering how to change my IP adress because rsbots.net doesnt work, and I want to change my IP and see if that works.

 

you can do in alot of ways but I change my ip by umpluging my wireless router and wait a good 15 - 20secs then plug back in

It also depends on what ISP you have.
Some ISP's link IP's to Mac address...So everytime you reset your IP it will give you back the same IP as you had before. The only way to bypass this is by using a router (Set a new Mac address) or Buy a new NIC.

Other ISP's allow you to change it by going to
start, CMD, type Ipconfig /release and then Ipconfig /renew....and you should have a new IP.

If this doesn't work try disconnecting the power cable of your modem for 30-60 seconds and then reconnect it....if everything goes right you will have a new IP.
