How to change my IP address?

hello, my rs account recently got hacked, and the person got a hold of my ip address.
how can i change it?
i use comcast with a router.

You can get a new modem. I presume you have a Motorola Surfboard model?

 

The hacker wouldn't be able to do anything with your IP anyway.

 

i have a static ip address.
is there any way i can change it?
and no, i've been hacked via rs before, and they ddosed me.

 

I usually just restart my modem a few times, and I have a static IP also.

If you have Comcast I highly doubt your static unless its a business.

EDIT - Your IP address isn't static at all.

 

Yeah, if you reboot your router, your IP should change. I'm not 100% sure though as mines dynamic.
