guide to making mills staking

THE RANGED TANK STAKER

ive made so much money using this its redonkulous. anyways...

STATS: i have lvl 1 prayer, currently 75 ranged and 60 def. my hp is 64.

EQUIPMENT: body: black dhide
legs: dragon platelegs
hands:black dhide vambraces
neck:amulet of glory
head:dragon med helm
boots:dragon boots
main weapon:rune crossbow
shield:rune kite shield
ammo: dragon bolts(e)

TRAINING: do dwarf cannon, use until 40 ranged, then use ranged guild bot until 60. after that, legit train using the style that gives def and ranged xp with black knives on your monster of choice at the ardougne zoo. i used soul wars for a few def levels but not many.

QUESTS: none really needed except dwarf cannon.

strategy: wear black dhide chaps, leather boots, leather body, and leather coif plus a anti-dragon shield. duel someone using armour, and quickly switch to the high def armour. i block most dclaw specs using this. i dont usualy do no armour fight but if you do wield a magic shortbow and say "i have to use my bow". then you can use your rune kite which helps tons.

wow your gear is bad. plrase dont make guides if you arnt good at this..
at least replace glory with fury.
get 70defence and 80 ranged and use torags helm and legs. obby shield is probably better for ranging and good def

 

okay dude, i personally made like 200m doing this...at this level, every single person pretty much is 1 defence, so they get raped...at a higher level, your setup is good, but not at this level. trust me, i used the same account i did this on to get 85 range, 75 def, and even though i won higher stakes at a higher level, i won waaaayyyy more stakes at a lower level..

 

Like its not a staking guide... You can just say that the stats you need are:
99 Ranged, 99 Defence, 99 Hitpoints and 1 prayer..

 

the chances of winning at this level are way higher cause everyone is 1 defence...

I dont really beleive you on this making a ton staking...your using crap gear like a glory when if you making mils you could easily have a fury for only 11m...

Could be better if you account switched with a pure because TONS of people look up stats now

What combat level are you?

Another problem is that the higher combat you get, and the higher you stake, the more likely you are to run into people in pvp armor etc so there is a danger of leveling out of a safe range where you're mostly fighting pures

I guess you could just be a douche and look people up and avoid staking them if they're also tanks though..

 

Bro at level 70s there are the best statius range tanks u dont stand a chance like that to them i had a tank aswell at those lvls and made some nice profit, so just mentioning that if stake is over 5m, u might be surprised when u switch to black dhide and dragon med helm and he to statius set and dfs(max def for a 70cb) and a cbow,(non chaotic most of the times)

 

Also there is no bot anymore.. so you cant bot you're range up. Also ,
Snakeskin boots or rangers boots -> Leather boots.
Zamorak prayer book -> Anti dragon

 

Dragon sq -> Antidragon, or you can also morrigan axes...

 

Easier said then done.

Do you have any other strategies?

 

um get your defence high as possible without leveling your cb too much, because range is what really levels it up high faster

 

You could put alot more work into this guide to be honest. Atleast include some pics, proof of winnings etc. and maybe a little more detail.

For somebody like me who knows like literally nothing about staking, this is extreme uninformative and I don't feel like I really learned anything.

 

well thanks for the feedback that wasnt hateful. this is literally the only guide ive ever made, and tbh i sold my range tank a little while back. i would post pictures but i dont quite have the ability to...if i could get someone who has a range tank to upload some screenies i will glady update it to make it more informative.
