Call of Duty 4 question

Do gold weapons have an advantage or are they just gold...and if they do...what kind of advantage do they have? and are they worth getting?

 

They have no advantage and i wouldnt reccomend getting them if your going to prestige because once you do they will just go away... Unless ur on the PC version then i would get them

They are just gold and nice to show-off your l33t skills

 

They are just Camoflauge, its quite uber but it gives off your position so easily.

 

Or if you boosted like a normal person...

 

mm no stat bonus or anything just gold makes em look ok

 

Its worth getting if you are going to sell your account but not worth getting until your at the final prestige mode. then its Ub3R 1337

 

How do you get gold weapons besides the desert eagle, I've only got the gold desert eagle when I hit 55, but how do you get gold on other weapons?

You get the gold weapons by completing all the challenges for that weapon cartegory.

Heres the list of Golden Weapons you get after completing that weapon group...

GOLDEN:

Mini-Uzi : SMG

Dragunov : Sniper

M401 Shotgun (pretty sure thats the number...its the M one lol) : Shotgun

(cant remember for the LMG's as I dont use them very much)

AK 47 : Assault Rifle

If I left any out or messed any up please correct me.

 

M60 : LMG

And you get a gold desert eagle just for reaching level 55

 

there are certain ones i would get. the golden shot gun and the golden M60..

no there is no advantage if u still havent found out but looks and respect

 

ye they just look good. but some people accuse you of doing cage matches for them

 

yeah Joker you really dont get too much respect by having golden weapons. If anything you lose respect because of all the immature people on xbox live that call you a cheater and stuff like that. Just plain annoying
