How to become a guide verifier?

I was wondering, how do you get to be a guide verifier and get on this list: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=913806

From my knowledge, there is no application system.

Logically speaking it would work like the moderator system. You get asked to become one, and generally they'll ask people who frequent the section as they should have a wealth of knowledge in that section.

Also from the looks of the list, it seems mods/ex mods only that are Trusted verifiers.

If this gets implemented I'm sure guide verifier opportunities will be opened up.

 

All these people are or have been at one point, moderators. I believe it was a general rule that only mods could verify guides.

 

I did noticed that the trusted verifiers were Ex-Mods, but I'd love to become one.

I believe they were asked. Generally they are either moderators or HIGHLY trusted normal users (Hence Tmoe, Feren).

 

Yeah :/ hopefully Nate's suggestion gets accepted.

 

Yeah a lot of people do support it and I really do agree something needs changed. Maybe now that the "shortage of staff" situation has been worked out we'll see a change.
