Should I get prayer on my Range/2h pure?

Currently my stats are:

Attack: 40
Strength: 27
Defense: 1
Range: 50
Pray: 1
Magic: 1
HP: 43

CB:35

My goals are:

Attack:40
Strength:67+
Defense:1
Range: 67+
Pray: ?
Magic: 1
HP: 49

Combat: 47


Now I was wondering, is it worth getting 25/31 prayer for Protect Item/Ultimate Strength? 25 Would take me to 50 cb and 31 would take me to 51. Is this worth it or should I just get STR/Range lvls instead?
I wanted to know because I wanted to do Animal Magnetism to get the attractor to make ranging lvling easier and it requires Priest in Peril that gives some prayer xp. (I upgraded to p2p to train cause its better gold/xp per hour but Ill pk in f2p).

I'd just get 31 pray and stick to it until you want higher. If you max out 99 str, range, and make it into like a d2h ranger, get 52 for smite.

Keep raising your stats and make a decision from there

 

I don't like prayer because it seems like a hassel to me... i would stick without prayer, especially in f2p because prayer runs out so fast

i still dont even see why u got 40 attack before 65 str
i have a f2p pure and his stats are
Atk: 30
Str: 60
Range: 62
Def: 1
Hp: 58
cb lvl 44, and the acc isnt even ready for rune weapons

 

raise it later after you have gotten your other stats and make sure it wont impact your combat level too much.

Nah i wouldnt full stop, most you'l lose is a range 2h and you'l win alot more fights without it against the lower levels with higher prayer.

 

In monk robes 25 Pray would come in unbelievably useful, and at like 10 you and turn off ultimate strength to ensure keeping the 2H.

 

Thanks, I decided I wont get prayer. And about me getting 40atk before 65 strength, I thought it didnt matter what order I got my stats in other than range. Does it? I mean Im not planning on pking anytime soon until I get at least 65str and range

 

Go to level 43 prayer and stick to that. Melee protect ftw.

 

I wouldn't raise pray.

 

range/2h is basically... Koing... I wouldn't really raise prayer.
