If a display name is seen to be offensive or deceptive, Jagex can remove the name, and replace it with a temporary name (a random set of numbers). The player will be forced to change the name before being able to log in. If a user repeatedly chooses offensive names, he or she will not have the ability to change his or her name for one year and will be assigned one by a Jagex game moderator.

no what he means, is if you continue to put offensive names they will MAKE you keep a name they give you like rsguy455 or something, but I'm sure some retard out there has had this done.

i logged in and one of my friends name was [#345789465] like random digits inside.
his name was multispaced and jagex is being fags and changing peoples multispaced names

 

Yes indeed if you have 3 names changed because of offensive language you get a random name a friend told me who said this happend to him his name is lightman101

 

My guy's name was FistMyAss and i just had to change it this morning so i hanged it to AssFistMeLol.

 

It has not happened to me personally, but I have seen it at the fishing guild several times.

 

It's happened to me. I was assigned a Display Name for 6 months.

yea me friend constantly had offensive names so jagex forced him to use his original login name.
