How should I use RS/Sythe to make money?

Hey guys. Im making a return to RS and Sythe to make some money. I havent played in like a year so I am not up to date. I used to bot a main account during the day and pk at night, I made decent money doing this. I had an RSBuddy premium FDK bot that worked well, is it still possible to bot them and make a lot? I am in this for pure profit now and I probably won't be playing much at all. From doing a little research one bot I found on powerbot was $20. This would take about 50m make it worth it approximately. Assuming 400k hour after supplies that is 125 hours. This is around 2 weeks of botting around 10 hours a day, so I dont know if it worth it. I really have no idea if I can make more profit (I have 115 cmb, 1700 total, 99 str, 75 attack, c. rapier+c.maul, 60 def, 96 magic, 99 dung, etc.) and I dont know how many hours it is safe to bot now. I used to be able to bot overnight and during some parts of the day, never been banned.

My other option is selling the account (with those stats what would price range be?). Also, do people who have gold shops make tons of money from flipping the gold or is it slow profit? I dont have an outstanding repuation here yet but it isn't bad but that is something I am interested in. So what do you guys think would be best for me as a little money making gig here?

 

I'd be skeptical as to the FDK's GP/hour now with all the people that green dragon botters.

As far as how many hours per day should you bot goes, that's a case by case scenario. Lately, a lot of members have been botting in the 20 hour range or so and haven't received so much as a first warning. If you want to bot over night and be active during the day, make sure there's a reasonable time gap for Jagex to assume you sleep. Also, I wouldn't risk my main account to farm gold. Selling your account doesn't seem like a smart move either as you won't receive much for a 115CB account with a 1,700+ total. If I were in your shoes I would somehow gather $450-500 and begin to flip gold as you mentioned. It will vary on how much you pay for bulk GP, if you're paying $.36-.38 per M then you can make a somewhat efficient profit. Also, you'll want to sell and buy as many times as possible throughout the week to amass more money which you may then use to purchase more gold. These are all pointers, but I would highly suggest racking in vouches through a skill training service, or questing service personally to ensure your reliability. Also, Player Auctions is a great tool to sell your gold aside from Sythe.

 

Look for something profitable to make some money on.
My friend is making money from selling Steam accounts.

 

The number one rule id say is, it takes money to make money, dont expect to come to sythe and make 100s botting and selling accounts. Id suggest an account upgrade shop to earn some trust (usually you'll break even or gain or a lose a few mil per upgrade) and then flipping gold or accounts. If youre interested in starting youre own gold farm youre gonna need a great pc/vps and some paid scripts.

 

You can sometimes buy gold from Sythe and sell it on your own website, I hear some people make money from this.

 

botting for money is a joke unless you have multiple comps running tons of bots even then its mediocre at best, and the "nuke" or atleast eoc is on the way so this is a terrible time to try and start a bot farm. Flipping gp seems to be good cash if you have a good initial investment in it and can get a good chunk cheaply.

 

Try offering services for either one of the games that are able to be done on sythe : )

Just going to query the point of you having a c. rapier and maul with only 75 attack? But yeah, don't bother botting anything now. Even the account market has plummeted, so making new Frost Killer accounts isn't even a decent profit either now.

 

Don't get into scamming first of all always be legit be patient and find something you're good in and you could make money with what i would do.

 

Services would be you're best bet IMO.

Buying & reselling also.

 

I'd recommend selling starter accounts to earn some start up then move on and buy an sell gold if you have the net wealth to do so.

Just try to find your niche and do something you enjoy.

 

I've made a lot of money staking... if you have money to invest in buying some gold and if you have a maxed melee account then I think that would be the way to go. It's risky though if you don't know what you're doing.
