edit: More info - He’s a Malaysian student, is currently in Royal London Hospital, he got broken jaw, tooth and will be undergoing operation soon. In this scene, he was actually on his way to his friend's house to break fast after fasting the whole day.

That's horrible. From what I've seen and read the police really need to take some action, I'm sure they would make quite a few people stop in their tracks if some shots were fired off into the air.
