Question about fishing..

What makes more GP at lvl 88 fishing? Sharks, or tuna/swordfish? And Should i do the quests for monkfish? Is it worth it? Please post feedback, thank you

I think sharks...at least they used to be.

 

Sharks are the best money per fish, but in a hour I think swordfish is more cash

 

I think your best bet, if the account is a main type of account, would definately be to do Swan Song. From what I could tell while fishing on my pure, only ever got to like 79, was that sharks were really slow. I have heard it is only really great money to start sharks around 92-95. However, monkfish are much faster money overall and are easily botted, as are sharks. Tuna/Swordies were always a good option if I wanted to auto some cooking.

 

go for monkfish mate, it's probably better money and it's definately better xp.

 

definitely do swan song, its a slightly tough quest but possible at around 70 combat... monks are right beside a bank and they are good cash and xp, then once you are a higher level you can go to sharks

 

i always like sharks better but may no tbe best

 

Monkfish all the way.. 67-93 fish. fished about 30K monkfish and the rest flyfishing

For money camp sharks, there something stupid like 1.6k atm, if your after the levels though and still wana make a decent bita money then yeah do the quest for monkfish, doesen't take to long to do.

I'd say monkfish.
But if you want only money, do sharks.
