Have you browsed sites like Craigslist to see what used options are available around you? Getting one used and deducting the cost of shipping will probably save you a pretty penny.

From experience, I think buying second hand would be a good option, the cost of a brand new one; is it worth it? I know local markets around my area tend to sell them alongside pitbikes, maybe you should check that out? even garage/boot sales.

    And the most obvious; eBay.

Buy second hand, buying a new one would be a complete waste of time honestly. With those small motors there's not a whole lot to go wrong if you get a decent make

I don't know what other kind of answer you're looking for.

Either buy it used from someone locally, from a local shop, or google an online retailer that ships to canada.

If you're looking for specific reviews on bikes I'm sure you can find that online too.
