how many of you faggots actually were around for RS in 2007?

when the grand exchange was released it essentially was the carthasis of merchanting. it's the symbol of the death of merchanting that all those merchants knew.

an aspect of the game that many came to know and love was merchanting in w2 falador park or w1 varrock bank. us merchants would spend hours on end, "cyan:buying d legs for 1.2m" and proceeding to make our money by the earliest rs concept of flipping by "red:selling dragon legs 1.3m".

whether you were merching p hats on the hill behind falador, selling ranger boots by the statue in fally park or selling runes by the falador east bank. it was raw merchanting driven by goals of becoming the bill gates of runescape. and it was a popular endeavor because anyone could get amongst it due to the simplicity of how the rs trading world worked back then...



now these were the fucking days. back when you had to hide public chat or else you would miss trade requests. newfags don't know.

 

I still remember the days of West Varrock bank being packed shitless with individuals screaming out Bank Sales, and wasting over an hour seeing what everyone is looking to sell. Damn, those were the days, I remember grabbing my Black G set, and how I looked like the biggest bad ass.'

Been playing since June 2006. Had just left primary school, sadtimes.

 

started in 2004 and quit on and off... stopped 2 years ago since last time I played but i might come back if they bring back 2007 servers back

 

So many people just go with the crowd and say they want it back lol.
