How many of you are getting Halo ODST?

I hope to get it It looks awesome don't care what anyone says all the halo games rock

Some games better then others such as Halo 1 was a CLASSIC. halo 2 being the best halo 3 was OK and Halo wars was pretty decent aswell.

 

I didn't hear anything about it until a few days ago. I'll read the gamespot review and probably buy it if it gets a 9+.

 

Lulz, the multiplayer is nothing like Halo 2 at all other than some of the weapons are in both games..

On topic: I have it, it's pretty fun. Just beat the campaign earlier. 495 gamerscore so far, but I'm not really trying for achievements yet. Just having fun on my first play through.

 

They barely changed it.

 

I don't enjoy playing games with "Plasma guns."

 

Well, I don't have an xbox 360 either, but small changes have large effects on the game play. I remember going from Halo to Halo 2, and small changes, like the radius of the frag grenade, really changed how the game flowed.

If you enjoyed Halo 2, I'm surprised that you have such a dislike for Halo 3. If you've never enjoyed any of the series a dislike would be a little more understandable. I suppose if you value originality in the games you play, you should generally expect the sequels to have diminishing value to some extent.

 

Different maps. Different melee system. Entirely different aiming system. Most of the weapons were made different enough that I barely consider them the same weapon that was in Halo 2. More weapons in Halo 3 increases the playstyle people can use. Grenade system is different. Jumping is way different. Halo 2 was more about individual skill, whereas Halo 3 is almost entirely about teamwork.

There's really not THAT much alike about Halo 2 and Halo 3.. maybe the graphics? Other than that, nothing.
