Anyone up for writing some Runescape related guides to benefit the Site?

Post here with ideas, I was thinking about guides so we wouldn't have to go to other fansites and read their guides.

 

You mean like a guide to hunting stars type of thing?

I could do it if that's what you mean.
I did stars from 69-93 mining.

Oh and plus I'm working on revamping my Dailies guide (in sig).

Idk how successful it'd be considering it'd be in competition with Zybez and Runescape Wiki etc...
They kinda dominate the scene.

That's true, but I feel like we should give it a shot, since some of us here might know some different things that the other communitys don't know.

 

Yeah I am up for it, but like Determinate said - Zybez, RuneScape Wiki, etc. are hard competition.

 

yea i am not sure we ll get enough support for this. the guides that i use come from wiki or runehq

 

i don't think this will work very well, i don't see much harm in just looking on other sites or even youtube...
But if people feel like making guides i'm sure it'll be appreciated

I'd write a guide to hunting grenwalls :L They're easy cash 1-2M\h with the proper hunting level.. But then again you could just go to YouTube and look one up for yourself.. Pretty much defeats the purpose.

 

We aren't trying to compete guys, the guides are for our benefit only.

 

no point in doing a skill guide or quest guides. to many sites like that just be pointless. you could make guides like p_anic made about 54-99 theiving. something like that for every skill would be cool.

 

Yeah, guides like that is what I want. I never said quest guides due to the fact that there are tons of them out there, but we can make skill guides our own.

 

If it's for the sites use, I'd say it would be pretty popular. Plus, as Gohan said, a few of us probably have our own tips and tricks to share.

Good idea. We may have competitors, but it would make this site more active, probably. There should be a section set up just like the one on RuneHQ where it has guides for quests; f2p and p2p.

If we made very detailed guides I guess this would be good, how many people would be making the guides?
