Well ive always wanted to start boxing and got my mains stats maxed when my account was disabled for a chargeback my parents made and i know owe jagex 70$. its disappointing because my 2nd account is no where near maxed and i really wanted to box. do i need to be maxed to box or does it not matter after certain stats?

 

maxed or nothing
with 98 in a stat you will fail against someone who's maxed
you will get cleaned 100% otherwise

 

Pretty much, get maxed or die tryin'.

 

You have to be maxed, don't listen to people that say, " Get 97 att" Or some bs like that, it's simple, the higher the number, the higher your odds of winning. Boxing is 50/50 at maxed vs maxed, if you're at 49/51 odds, you will definitely get clean sooner or later

 

Yeah without 99 att def str and hp there's no point.

Or 99 def mage and hp. Either way, doing it with less will get you cleaned.

 

Some argue that you must be maxed to box.. Not necessairly true. If you get stats such as 92 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength, you can convince people 2x what you're staking.

You may have a lower chance of winning (lets say 40/60) but with them 2xing your stake, you can lose twice as often and still break even.

Either way, when I box I generally used a maxed account.

 

This is true as I've tested it before on a separate account from my main. In the same token, just as Tmoe and everyone above him suggested a max combat rank is what you'll thrive with. Before I forget, you can rent out max combat accounts here. Only would suggest doing so if you plan on staking a reasonable amount over the short duration of time you rent the account.

 

Maxed account for 50/50 chances. I would go for max account for boxing.
