How long will Runescape last

I think is is a pretty good topic, How long will rs last? all games dont last forever, but i would like to hear what people have to say...i say it will last another good 10 years, but really i have no clue,

 

good subject, but i realy wouldn't know what to say.

 

Well, overall its expanding, so i wouldnt say its going to end real soon, but like you said it wont last forever..

or will it? Mwahaha

 

i think it will end sooner rather than later because jagex really cant think of anything new to make the game better.

 

well they can always go to a new lang and make a better game rs3

 

Fagsex will keep updating it until they ruin it. 2-3 years until it's totally turned into a game for 10 year olds. Then it will continue to go down... 7 years.

 

idn i hope till i quit playing it. with all these autoers going on they might just give up on the game but i highly doubt that and don't flame me for saying that. idn about 5-10 years id say. mabey longer if they add like a runescape 3 or 4 and if they update f2p more often.

Well, if Andrew has kids, which I doubt because he probably hasn't made it through puberty yet. But if he had kids they could pass it on. They're running out of ideas, that's true. I haven't seen a good update in a while.

Lakai kid, I really doubt they would add cars, because this game is based on the middle ages. They should add horses though.

 

As long as people play it and as long as it brings in $, it will last. I'd give it 50+.

I say...20-30 years, then Andrew dies, and then some nub like me rolls around and recreates it, exact same, becomes a millionaire(IRL and RS!)...yeah.

 

I estimate about 6 or 7 years. Why:

- Jagex is fucking stupid. Gay updates, and bad customer service.
- The fact that many are quitting. Rs used to be very popular 2 years ago.
- Everyone is turning to Warcraft.

 

If they don't really improve the graphics, battle system and animations, I's say 4-6 years. People are gonna play better games,and by that I mean not World Of Warcraft, that games for fags and lameos who don't have a life. World Of Warcraft sucks in my opinion, if you don't agree then you don't have to hate. Oh yeah and maybe after Andrew Gower dies were not gonna see much improvement unless we get some real game designers and a good programming code system that's not based on Java because using only Java would get you a simple, uncomplicated and bad-looking game. Oh yeah and I doubt Andrew has a real life and kids whom he would teach about programming so they could continue updating the game after he's dead. He must be rich with all the subscribers and all...

 

They are making runescape three I am trying to get more info out of my friend (Hes a player mod) But he wont tell me.

I'd say about 3 years. It's still ok, but it's going downhill. The customer support is pretty horrible, and alot of the updates they are coming out with are awful, but that's just my opinion.

 

i dont think it will die out, i mean people in their 40's play rs, who knows if we still will when we are that old
