Which 99 advice

Basically I recently got 99 herb on my skiller/pure and I want another cape to trip the herb cape.

My budget is: 50m
Please do not suggest methods or skills that will cost more than 50m, I see quite a few people asking for help on a budget and people tell them to spend hundres of mils that they do not have. I will be reporting these posts as spam.

Basically I do not care what cape it is, the faster the better. I guess cooking is probally my best option for a fast'ish cape. Although I think you actually make money from it now so I am basically wondering if there is another skill that will cost no more than 50m to get to 99 and will average around 250k+ xp/hour.

constructions with sacred clay hammer (if you have time for that) would get you 99 for 35m I think on oak larders... I don't know how much the prices have changed mind you. Also what about, Fletching or Firemaking. They are very quick cheap skills (you might even profit off of Fletching)

 

Cooking is overrated. Firemaking is more awesome IMO.

 

Cooking and firemaking are two fast 99s that are extremely cheap. With cooking, after 90 or so, you actually start making profit. Another one for skillers is fishing - it's pretty fast in comparison to other skills. You can try powerfishing at Barbarian Village if you're not looking to bank (minimal profit there)... that's some pretty fast XP.

 

cooking range or firemaking

 

Cook, or fletching for sure. Cooking is a loss but quick and fletching is a profit but a little slower. Just go for it!

 

I've gone with cooking. Doing wines to 90 which will cost around 40m then monks, sharks and rocks from there as they are decent xp alone.

 

Fletching, buy unfinished addy bolts and finish them, gets around 250k an hour if you do it right, and all in all you wouldn't lose 35 mill in the process

Superman mentioned you can make money from 90 in cooking, but also at lower levels you can cook trout and salmon for around 100 profit, while obtaining over 50K xp an hour.

 

If you are seeking a trim, just go for cooking or something easy.

 

Range is a cool cape to get and doesnt cost too much, chinning is super fast xp. My friend got 80-99 in a few days only spending 40m. Good thing about range is that it is a great skill to pk/boss with. Chatic Crossbow is the way to go man!

 

It's to slow doing them and I have 50m with literally nothing to buy. Got max pure gear, pk supplies for at least a year it's just going to waste. I'm never going to even wear the cape I just look at is as I'm buying a trim for my herb cape for 40m which is fine

 

I agree with Vision you could Chin range, or even mage at soul wars. Looking at non combat, for speed, Firemaking will be the quickest with your budget.

 

Like the others said, cooking, FM, fletching are probably the fastest and cheapest 99.

Cooking will be making profit when you can cook monkfish 99% without burning. Sharks, Rocktails have very decent profit margins now. Plus it's over to 200K xp/hr.

FM is the next skill i would recommend. Once you get 83 WC/FM you can access jadinko lair for the fastest fm xp without speeding a single dime. The xp rate is somewhere between burning yew logs and magic logs. Can't remember the exact xp/hr

Fletching will cost you quite a bit of money now. Don't think 50M covers your costs if you don't string the bows as well. Unless you cut yew or maple longbows(u). Magic longbow(u) results in a 'relatively' expensive loss for minimal xp. You could try attaching gem tips to bolts but this is a fairly difficult as the trade limit per 4h is 10k for the tips and bolts. Purchasing them is somewhat difficult at times. You may profit or break even majority of the time. It's rare to actually lose profit. Just check GE charts and do tests buys.

 

Cooking, cheap & quick (cooking gauntlets is very simple 99)

Well if I was you I would personally try and get 99 cooking very fast xp and also try firemaking also very fast xp .
