heres how you get someones IP address. click start, then run Type in cmd and click OK Type tracert then any website(e.g. www.google.com) press enter and it should come up with IPs Happy IP tracing!
good post but im pretty sure most ppl on the forum already know this... its pretty common knowledge. plus it doesnt actually give you the persons IP it gives you teh IP of the host the said person is using. say i was to trace sythe.org right now it wouldnt give me sythe's IP it would give me the IP of the server he is hosting it on.
Works, but I remember seing a guide like this, except that it went much deeper, to the point where you can find there approximate location. I'll post it if I find it.
*nods* only way you can do that is if you hack into the billing section of their ISP, which is likely to be a real mean trick to pull off
